Customers who do have a debit card from NYCB can participate in the bank’s rewards program with as little as 2,000 points (which would equal $20 cash). New York Community Bank customers can earn up to 50,000 points (or $500 cash) every calendar year. If more points are earned, they will actually carry over to the next year, meaning New York Community Bank rewards points never expire.
