T-MobileSettlement Class Action Settlement
T-Mobile was a victim of a cyber attack in which the hackers got away with a combination of names, addresses, zip codes, phone numbers, dates of birth, social security number/tax identification number, and/or other government identification numbers including driver’s license number, account establish date, name of an authorized user, phone number, IMSI, MSISDN, PIN, and personal unlock code.
Unfortunately not only was T-Mobile hacked but due to the hack they were a target of a class action lawsuit where the class members won a mind-blowing $350,000,000 which will be placed into a Settlement Fund. This settlement is much larger than the Google Referer Header Settlement which was only 23 million.
