Alabama Power My Payment
- Pay a bothersome bill online associated with being an Alabama Power customer
- Paying with a Discover, Visa, or MasterCard credit card is an option but will cost the customer $2.25
- Those who are not a Alabama Power My Payment users will have to register with their Southern Company account number before online bill pay is available
The Alabama Power My Payment service uses BillMatrix for customers who are paying via credit card (BillMatirx can be reached at 1-800-835-270 and consumers will be charged a bothersome $2.25 processing fee for using this service). One time online payments are allowed as long as the customer uses a checking or savings account and provides their account number and web access code, social security number/Tax ID #, or email address. It is highly recommended that Alabama Power customers sign up for the auto payment bill service which will automatically debit the customers monthly payment from their designated bank account (this service does not charge a fee and customers can still receive a paper bill in the mail for their records).

- If paying by mail via check please be sure to write the customer’s account number on the check
- Customers who enroll in Paperless Billing and Auto Pay will not receive a paper bill and will have no need to schedule a payment
- When paying for a bill through the mail never send cash
- Please use the enclosed envelope associated with a Alabama Power bill when paying by check or money order
