- When does the promotion start and end? The McDonald’s Game Time Gold Promotion runs from November 3, 2015 and wraps up on December 21, 2015 (four days before Christmas)
The promotion is sponsored by McDonald’s USA, LLC and any employees (or affilates) of McDonald’s are banned from entry. Any questions about the Play At MCD promotion can be directed to the toll free number (866) 375-0638. The contest can be entered by purchasing a food items with a game piece or by WITHOUT purchase by US Mail. Game pieces can be found on popular McDonald’s food items to include the Filet-O-Fish, BIG Mac, Large Fries, 10-piece and 20-piece McNuggets (please note the 20 piece Chicken McNuggets will contain 2 (two) game pieces).
McDonald’s Game Time Gold Promotional Notes
- All entries by mail MUST be hand written (this will help eliminate illegal entries)
- When entering via text message lucky players will receive the Lucky Team Free Small Fries Prize notification via SMS and online
- Contestants can enter via text by texting the Code from a Game Piece with an NFL team helmet to 84567
- A telephone number will be required when entering online via Playatmcd.com
- Announcements for a new Lucky Team take place during the Sunday Night Football Pre-Game Show on: November 8, November 15, November 22 and November 29
- There will be a total of 4 entry periods associated with the PlayAtMcd promotion and the final draw will take place on or around Januarary 4th 2016
- Please allow up to 6 weeks for $50 prizes to arrive
What are the prizes though?! The best prize by far is the four night trip for two to Super Bowl 50 which will be played in San Fransico California. Other pretty dedcent prizes associated with promotion inlcude a Xbox One console, a check for $500k, and Fathead gift cards.
Over 440,000,000 game pieces will be distrubuted during the McDonald’s Game Time Gold Promotion and the odds of winning a food prize with any given piece is listed as 4 to 1. Other odds include 1 in 24,537 (for the $50 cash prizes) and 1 in 1.33 (for the Game Piece with an NFL team helmet and Code). All $50 prizes MUST be redeemed by 12/21/15 and winners must go to www.iwonatmcd.com to claim the prize.
