The Park Smart Denver service is designed to assist residents with parking permit, ticket and towing, handicap parking, parking lots and garages, on street meters, and bike parking issues. Residents of Denver should note that street sweeping services take place from April through November and residents are required to move their auto accordingly or be slapped with a costly $50.00 parking citation. Residents who are prone to forget things can always sign up for street sweeper notification via the pocketgov mobile web application (this app will allow the resident to receive both text and email notifications). Residential parking permits are by far the most popular request made using the Denver PVB service as it allows a resident to obtain a permit to park outside the street they live on. Please note these residential parking permits DO NOT allow the holder of the permit to park outside areas of the parking permit to include no parking zones. Any questions in regards to the Denver PVB service can be directed to a customer service agent at the Parking Violations Bureau 1-866-280-9988. Concerned citizens who need to make the city aware of a parking violation should dial 311. Those who need to report a non police emergency can dial 720-913-2000 between the hours of 5:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Residents attempting to reach the Denver PVB agency can dial up 720-913-1311.
