Respond.Census.gov/ACS is operated by the United States Government and the Census Bureau is not permitted to publicly release the responders responses in a way that could identify this household.  The Federal Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2015 protects the responder from bothersome cybersecurity risks through screening of the systems that transmit the responders information.  Respondents are not required to respond to any information collection unless it displays a valid approval number from the Office of Management and Budget.  Although some might find this as a bothersome task the survey is very important in order to collect data within the United States and who is living where.

  • Will take between 30 to 45 minutes to complete (older people may take up to an hour)
  • OMB Numbers: 0607-0810, 0607-0936
  •  The survey is available in both English and Spanish
  • Those who do not have the 10 digit survey number should wait to provide feedback until the have the number on hand
  • The User ID associated with the survey will be found in the right hand corner of the mailing
  • The American Community Survey will ask a variety of questions in regards to the users household and number of people in the house
  • All feedback will be used for census data only
  • Must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older
