The Highmark BCBSDE service will allow a user to search for a doctor, ask a medical question, shop for health insurance in their given area, find forms, and obtain other medical information. The Highmark BCBSDE service is free to use and in order to register the user must provide their name, reason for registering (i.e. looking for a health insurance plan, shopping for medicare), Highmark Delaware Blue Cross Blue Shield member ID, address, date of birth, phone number, and a valid email address (please use a good email address as Highmark will send a confirmation email with a link in order to complete the registration process). Once the users has completed the registration process they can purchase health insurance plans form the comfort of their computer chair, view, compare and share plans 24/7, and sign up for email notifications in regards to important health happenings in the state of Delaware. Please note when searching for a doctor the user will have to visit amwell.com or doctorondemand.com and follow the instructions to register and download their mobile apps (don’t worry the process will take less than 2 minutes to complete).
