Bank Of America power rewards will provide 1 point on each dollar that is spent using the card and points can be redeemed for gift cards, cash back, travel expenses and special events i.e. concerts, sporting events.  Members can begin to redeem points at 2500 and points will not expire until 5 years from the date they are earned.

BOA Power Reward Notes/Fine Print

  • There’s no additional cost to participate in the program
  • Authorized customers are automatically enrolled
  • Any questions, comments or concerned about the Power Reward card program can be directed to 1.800.434.8313
  • Fractions of Points greater than .50 are rounded up and less than or equal to .50 are rounded down (example $4.51 would be rounded up to $5 while $4.49 would be rounded down to $4)
  • BOA does not set a limit on the amount of points that can be earned
  • From time to time, special promotions may feature the ability to earn bonus points (when an offer like this becomes available details will accompany the offer)
  • The program is NOT available in the state of Hawaii or Alaska
  • All CASH rewards are only issued in US Dollars
  • Points WILL NOT be earned on balance transfers, cash advances, interest charges, money orders, credit protection or transactions that were made in fraud
  • Redeem Points for a variety of events,experiences and concierge services,including entertainment
  • Rewards may constitute taxable income

It should be noted that BOA power reward points can be redeemed as soon as they appear on the members statement (which can be checked online) assuming the members has accumulated more than 2500 points.
