BankatCity.com provides a customer with everything they need to know about City National Bank. Returning customers can simply sign in with their online banking ID and begin to pay their bills online or check account transactions. Those who do not have an account with City National Bank can open an account online in less than 10 minutes with a driver license, SSN #, and those who are planning to fund their brand new spanking Bank at City account with funds from a financial institution other than City will need to provide the other bank account number and routing number. Please note in order to open a bank account online at BankAtCity.com the customer needs to be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States living in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, or Ohio. City National Bank offers a variety of checking accounts, savings and money market accounts to meet the individual needs of each customer. Any questions in regards to an online checking account with City can be directed to the E-Bank Support Center at (888) 816-8064 from Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m (the E-Bank Support Center is closed for business on Sunday). Customers are allowed to add a joint account holder (i.e. husband, wife) during the application process but those who already have an account or completed the application will have to add a joint account holder in person.
Bank at City Notes
- If the customers zip code is outside the City’s service area they WILL NOT be able to open an account online
- Those who are using an outside bank to fund a City account will receive two small deposits and two corresponding withdrawals to that account within two to three business days
- Online checking account sign up will use an electronic signature process
