Navy Federal My Award Card

  • Activate or register a Navy Fed award card online
  • Users can also access their award account
  • The service is powered By Visa DPS

The Navy Federal Awards Card is billed as a ‘non-reloadable’ prepaid Card, meaning additional funds cannot be added later.  The Navy Federal Navy Award Card must be registered with a name, address, and phone number in order to make purchases online (i.e. Amazon.com, Walmart.com) or by phone.  Once the card has been activated and registered the card holder can start their online spending spree (but don’t spend more money than a budget allows).  Please note some merchants may deny transactions associated with the Navy award card if the Card does not have a listed address on record.  The cardholders initial password is the last 6 digits of the Card number… this number should be changed immediately upon registration.  The card can be used anywhere Visa Debit Cards are accepted and using the card will not improve or hurt a credit score.  Any questions or concerns (i.e. lost card, forgot username associated with an account) in regards to a Navy Federal Award account can be directed to a customer service agent at 866-809-2679 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  Please report a lost or stolen card within 48 hours or the card holder may be held responsible for the items purchased with the stolen card.  It should also be noted that the Navy Federal Awards Card can be used for the final payment for both hotels (i.e. Hoilday Inn) and car rentals.

Fees associated with the Navy Federal My Award Card?

  • Lost/stolen/replacement fee? $5.00
  • Monthly Service Fee? $5.00 (starting the 13th month after the Card is issued)
  • Express delivery Fee for Replacement Cards? $5.00

Unfortunately according to the terms the Navy Federal Award Card does come with a costly $5.00 monthly service fee.  Because of this it is highly recommended that the card holder uses the funds within the first month of ownership.
